  1. Circle time. to promote talking and listening skills, a time for sharing, and memory recall, confidence building.
  2. Story telling. in groups and one to one.
  3. Book corner. a variety of picture books, story books, non fiction books, nursery rhyme books, counting books, non fiction books, counting books, multi cultural books and books to support weekly topics.
  4. Mark making.. Pens, pencils, crayons, paper, paint and chalks.
  5. Computer. a variety of age related games covering a variety of skills, using a range of educational cd Roms.

    Educational sessions ::
  6. Numeric activities. sorting trays, matching games, counting materials, pattern making equipment etc.
  7. Role play. role play areas frequently set up to accommodate topics such as bakers shops, hairdressers, farm etc as well as a home corner.
  8. Table top toys. a wide variety of table top toys, such as puzzles, threading, sorting and constructional toys.
  9. Small world activities. dolls house, farm, castle etc.
  10. Construction toys. table top toys such as Lego, ello and large building toys such as building blocks.
  11. Malleable materials. coloured play dough, clay corn flour dough and salt dough.
  12. Sand and water play. outdoor sand and water play complete with all relevant toys, such as buckets, spades, bottles funnels, scoops weighing toys etc. these trays are also routinely used with other contents to provide a variety of texture and movement, such as pasta, rice compost etc.
  13. Cookery sessions. regular cookery sessions.
  14. Physical activities. daily sessions outside weather permitting, with sand, water, and playhouse also outside toys prams etc weekly p.e. sessions with the use of music and movement cd's.
  15. quiet area.
  16. Educational visits and outings. visits to the park, library, shops beach and occasional special outings.
  17. Cookery.
  18. Gardening.
  19. Reading.. and story time sessions and regular use of story sacks.
  20. meals and snacks provided (all home cooked and nutritious, menus changed regularly.) Vegetarian and other dietary requirements catered for on request.
  21. TV/video sessions showing educational early learning programmes.
  22. After school clubs (assistance with homework, spellings and reading given.)
  23. Holiday clubs (filled with fun activities.)
