Littlegems childcare | prices & times

Little Gems' will be open from 8.00am to 6.00pm and school holidays; We will be closed bank holidays and public holidays (i.e.) Christmas, New Year and Easter. 'Little Gems' will provide healthy home cooked meals and there will be a small fee for these although parents are free to provide a packed lunch if preferred.

School holidays :		mon - Friday (8.00am - 6.00pm)
Bank holidays :		Closed
Public holidays :		Closed

Hourly rate :		£3.00 - £3.50
Weekends :		£4.50 - £5.00
Meals :		£1.00 for breakfast, lunch & dinner (drinks and snacks are already included)

Absent child :		If a child is absent from an arranged childminding day, the parent will still be responsible for the full fee.
Absent childminder :		In the rare occasion that our service is not available due to illness, the parent will not be asked to pay for any arrange childminding.
Child Holiday :		If a child is booked in for childminding and doesnt attend due to a holiday, the parent will still be responsible for the fees.
Childminder holiday :		No fee is charged if our service is unavailable due to a holiday; prior notice will always be given!
Term time care only :		A 20% retainer fee will be asked for during the rest of the year.
Bank holidays :		If a child is booked in on a day that is a bank holiday, then 50% fees still apply.

Payment to myself can be made in cash or cheque made out to Gemma Britton, payments can be made weekly or monthly (in advance).

'Little Gems' will require a week's deposit returnable when your child leaves, a small fee will be charged for main meals, snacks and drinks are included in the price. If you need to take your child out of 'Little Gems' for i.e. a holiday, it needs to be booked one month in advance and a retainer fee will be charged to hold your child's place open, if your child is absent i.e. sickness, full fees will apply however if 'Little Gems' is unable to open due to sickness, family commitments e.t.c. There will be no charge, and we will, as much as possible help you to find alternate arrangements, we will also do my utmost give at least one months notice if we have to close due to holidays, training or appointments and as the same as if we are unwell and unable to open no charge is due if 'Little Gems' is closed.

If you only require care during term time a 20% retainer fee is charged in school holidays to keep your child's place open.

Periodically I will arrange for a special outing to the zoo, farm e.t.c. There will be a charge for the entry and travel costs, but a letter with details will go out to you in advance.

We will make drop off's and collections to Priory infants school, local nurseries and Christchurch primary school, 'Little Gems' will only be involved with these schools and nurseries as I am unable to drive and want to be realistic in what I can provide, school destinations are subject to change but I will give a terms prior notice to any change.

There at present is no charge for school collections but will be charges to the hour i.e. if your child comes out of school at 3.00pm 'Little Gems' will charge from 3pm, similarly 'Little Gems' charges to the half hour so if you collect your child at 5.10pm you will be charged until 5.30pm.
